Lewellyn P. "Lyn" Hahn, 84 of Port Byron passed away Monday, March 25, 2024 at his home. Born in Syracuse on June 3, 1939, he was the son of the late Samuel and Edith Pratt Hahn. Lyn was a graduate of Onondaga High School and retired from the NYS Thruway Authority. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles No. 96 in Auburn and enjoyed trips to the casino, horse races, drag races, watching Fox News and anything related to John Deere.
He is survived by his brother's Jerry Sr., Richard and Duane Hahn; sons Lewellyn Jr., Darrol and Kenneth Stoneburg; daughter Nancy Stoneburg; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Lyn was predeceased by his wife Corrine "Bootsie" Hahn in 2006; and daughter Elizabeth "Betsy" in 1986.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, April 1, 2024 at 1:15pm in the White Chapel Funeral Home, 2719 Erie Drive, Weedsport. Calling hours will follow from 2 to 4pm funeral home. Spring Burial will take place in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Port Byron. A reception of light hors d'oeuvres and desserts will immediately follow calling hours at the Port Byron American Legion.
