Betty Traver

Betty J. Traver, 82, formerly of Weedsport, passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at The Commons on St. Anthony St., Auburn
Mrs Traver was born in Cortland, NY on January 7, 1936 to the late Lester and Margaret Gaynor Miles. After 25 years of employment, Betty retired from Welch Allyn.  She loved to paint and enjoyed traveling to Maine.
Betty is survived by her children, Jason (Fern) Jennings, Clay Jennings, M’Lis Traver, Yvette (Elliott) VanDerVeer, and Daniel Traver; her daughter in-law, Renee Jennings; sister Mary (Jim) Judson; grandchildren, Jeremy Wilmot, Jason Tanner, Chance Ball, Vanessa Hickey and Ashley VanDerVeer; and several great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Betty was predeceased by her husband, Frederick Traver; her sons, Charles Jennings and Todd Jennings;   her daughter and son- in-law, Yvonne (Chuck) Traver-Ball.
A memorial Service will be held 2pm, Saturday, January 5, 2019 at  White Chapel Funeral Home, 2719 Erie Drive, Weedsport. Donations in memory of Betty may be made to The Alzheimer’s  Association  of CNY  441 West Kirkpatrick St Syracuse NY 13204
