Jane E Millas

Jane E. Millas, 95, of Auburn passed away Saturday, May 11, 2019, at the Finger Lakes Center for Living.

Mrs. Millas was born in Auburn, NY on January 7, 1924, to the late Edward and Elsie Sickles Brownhill. Jane was a Nurse Aide at Auburn Nursing Home for many years. She enjoyed crocheting, ceramics and China painting. Jane had a love of traveling, whether it was going on bus trips or just getting in her car and “getting lost.” Some of her favorite places to visit were Old Forge, Nova Scotia and Hawaii.

Jane is survived by her children, Nancy (James) Ogle of VA and John (Patricia) Millas of NC; her grandchildren, Colleen (Michael) Burns, James Sweeney, Taryn (Martin) Homick , Johanna (Gregory) Lattimore and Lisa Millas; many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; her forever daughter-in-law, Joanne(Patrick) Lamson; her nephew, David Zobkiw and her Finger Lakes Center for Living family.

Visitation and services for family and close friends will take place Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at White Chapel Funeral Home Inc., 197 South St. Auburn from 10-11am. Interment to follow at Fort Hill Cemetery.
