Krista Neville

 Krista Marie Neville, 63, of Auburn, passed away on July 22, 2019.  

Born in Auburn, she and her family also spent time in Georgia and Texas while her father served in the United States Air Force.  She graduated from Auburn High School in 1972.  Krista was employed by the Department of Motor Vehicles for 30 years where she worked beside her husband and many lifelong friends.

Krista was very proud of her children, T.J. and Katie, and loved her three grandsons tremendously.  She looked forward to daily pictures and FaceTime chats with her grandsons.  She also enjoyed many great life experiences (e.g., vacations, wine, cheese, or trips around the lake) with her dear sisters, Nancy and Cynthia.  Krista was an avid Yankees fan and her cheering (or dislike of the other team) could be heard throughout the house.  Krista’s laugh was contagious and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.  Her family and friends find comfort in knowing she is reunited with her beloved cocker spaniels, Chelsea and Lilly.

She is survived by her husband of 38 years, John Neville; her son, Thomas J. Neville (Kristina); her daughter, Katie Miller (Matthew); three grandsons, Owen, Christopher, and Kiran; four sisters, Nancy Vollmar, Cynthia Arrington, Susan Vollmar, and Erika Ross (David); nieces, Amelia and Eleanor; step daughters, Christine, Noelle, and Heidi; as well as many other nieces, nephews, step grandchildren, and friends.  

She is predeceased by her mother, Aurora Carbary, and her father, Emil Vollmar.

Friends are invited to visit the family from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, July 26, at White Chapel Funeral Home, 197 South St., Auburn.  Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 27, in Sacred Heart Church.
