Kristie L. McIntosh

Kristie L. McIntosh 59, of Auburn died Monday February 4, 2019. Heaven needed another angel, and so called Kristie home. Born September 14, 1959, She grew up and attended school in LaFayette, NY, and as an adult made Auburn her home. A very gentle soul, she will be missed by anyone who knew her. She was one of those people you hear of who would give the shirt off her back, or do anything for those in need. Among the many hobbies she enjoyed, she is widely known for her love of baking, especially Christmas cookies which will be missed by many!She found comfort in the word of Christ, and the fellowship she found at The Vineyard. Her greatest pleasure was with her family, whether it was special times spent with siblings, or the care she gave to her children and grandchildren. Kristie died unexpectedly at home of natural causes. What none of us who is left to grieve her loss will ever forget – the smile and laughter that accompanied her wherever she went. She is survived by two daughters, Crystal (Gary) Sheets, and LaRae McIntosh, and one son: Shawn (Krystal)  McIntosh; her mother, Joyce Douglas McIntosh; 8 grandchildren, siblings; Brenda (Ken) Clark, Sheri McIntosh, Jacqueline McIntosh, and Fred McIntosh, several nieces and nephews. Additionally, there are special friends,Ashley Fuller, and Lekeisha Denman DuVall. Kristie was predeceased by her dad, Louis McIntosh in 1997. Funeral Services will be held Friday at 4:pm, in The Vineyard, 360 Grant Ave. Auburn, followed by a celebration of her life. Friends are invited to call on the family Friday from 1 pm to 4 pm prior to services at The Vineyard. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to White Chapel Funeral Home, Auburn.
