Michael G Sayles

Michael G. Sayles, 44, of Rochester, formerly of Weedsport, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 28, 2019.
Michael was born in Geneva, NY on January 4, 1975. He was a 1993 graduate of Weedsport Central High School, a 1995 graduate of SUNY Cobleskill, he then went on to attend SUNY ESF and had an internship with Amercorps, and in 2003 Michael  graduated SUNY Oswego, where he earned his Bachelor's Degree. Michael was employed as a Supervisor with Paychex in Henrietta and was an IT Specialist. He had a love for math, ecology and forestry. He enjoyed playing in musicals and playing the drums in the Weedsport school band.Michael  felt at peace when he was out hiking and enjoying nature. He was also a huge Star Wars Fan.
Michael is survived by his loving family, his mother, Beverly Coleman Sayles; his brother, Gregory (Amanda) Sayles; his sister, Laurie (Scott) Anania; nephews, Thomas, Andrew and Christopher; nieces, Isabella and Savannah and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Michael was pedeceased by his father, Thomas H. Sayles in September 2009.
Calling hours will be held Friday, July 5, 2019 from 4-7pm at White Chapel Funeral Home, 2719 Erie Dr. Weedsport. A Memorial Service will be  Saturday, July 6th, 10am at the funeral home, burial to follow at Cato Union Cemetery.
