THROOP | Ronald G. Clark, 82, of Throop, passed away Monday, April 22, 2019, at his home. Born on July 15, 1936 at his family home on Lasher Road in Montezuma, N.Y., Ronald was the son of the late Lewis and Isabelle Large Clark. He retired from McGuire and Bennett in Ithaca as a supervisor. Ronald enjoyed writing and documenting family events and parties and also spent a lot of time at the “Dirty Shame,” his camp in Montezuma. He would gather there and enjoy the company of family and good friends. Ronald is survived by his daughters, Cheryl Guariglia, Lynn Clark, and Sharon “Becky” Clark; his sons, Steven (Joanne) Clark and James (Jane E. Ayers) Clark; his grandchildren, Stephanie Clark, Joseph (Erin Brady) Clark, Nicole (David) Mastropietro, Alex (Caitlyn Arnold) Guariglia, and Madelyn Clark; several great-grandchildren; his sister, Lorraine Sarnicola, and several nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, Ronald was predeceased by his wife, Lois Namisnak Clark in 2014, and his brother, Robert Clark. Services will be held privately for the family. Friends are invited to gather with family at Ronald’s home, 2286 Hume Lane, Auburn, and continue to celebrate and share memories. Ronald’s family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Hospice, “the girls,” who took great care of him during his journey. Contributions in Ronald’s name may be made to the SPCA or the Golisano Children’s Hospital. Arrangements are with White Chapel Funeral Home Inc., Auburn.
