John M. Panek, 62, of Savannah, passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2017 in the comfort of his home, with family by his side. John was born in Auburn on October 24, 1954, the son of Joseph and Vivian Battram Panek. He was a graduate of Weedsport High School and was employed as a technician with Xerox of Rochester.  John retired from Xerox. John and Lynn enjoyed going to Florida for the winter months, They enjoyed traveling.  They loved being with family on Frost Hill along with Yukon, Cha Cha, Jasmine their dogs.
John was predeceased by his loving, devoted wife Lynn Howell Panek on June 27, 2017.  His father, Joe Panekand his mother, Vivian (Battram) (Panek) Randolph, Step father Robert E. Randolph Sr.
He is survived by   Brothers Joe Panek of Weedsport, George Panek (Brewerton), Robert (Pam) Randolph Cato, Charles (Linda) Randolph) Weedsport, Scott (Sue) Randolph Weedsport. Brother -in-law Butch (Janine) Howell Port Byron.
John had many Nieces and Nephews also Great Nieces and Nephews.

There will be no calling hours, a memorial service will be held Saturday, July 22, 2017 at 11:00 am in the Countryside United Methodist Church, Duck Lake Rd, Port Byron
Donations: Can be made to Hospices and the SPCA.

John is a God fearing man with many qualities and a great laugh.
