Alan M. MacDonald

Alan M. MacDonald, 64 of Auburn passed away following a short but courageous battle with cancer. Born in Buffalo March 29, 1959, Alan had resided in Auburn for the last 25 years. Together with his late wife Sheri, they had tackled many business ventures. He worked at the Trading Post in Auburn and was an active member and bartender at the Sicz Club. 

He is survived by one son John Grochmal and his wife Dana Zeider-Grochmal; his fiancé Ellen Butler and her children Susan Woodman and Kevin Conley; as well as several nieces and nephews. Alan was predeceased by his late wife Sheri in 2005. 

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, February 17, 2024 at 4:00 pm at the Sicz Club, 145 Washington Street, Auburn. Arrangements are with White Chapel Funeral Hoem Inc., 197 South Street, Auburn.
