Allen B. Polcovich, 70, of Auburn, passed away on February 6, 2024, at Upstate University Hospital. Born in Auburn on November 6, 1953, Allen was the son of the late Charles and Ethel (Carpenter) Polcovich. Allen was employed many years with EmCom as a maintenance engineer. After retirement he split his time between Auburn and his home in St. Augustine, FL. In addition to his family, Allen's greatest love was his dog, Buddy.
Allen is survived by his siblings, William (Barb) Polcovich, Carol Shaw, Shirl Pongpipat, Julia (Linda) Polcovich, Linda Allen and Ronald (Karen) Polcovich; his good friends, John Carnicelli, Dave LaMay, Jamie Glimpse, Diane Buttaro and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his daughters Michele Tardibone and Tammi Talada
Along with his parents, Allen was predeceased by his brother, Robert Polcovich; his friends, Tony Pongpipat and Dana Hassen and his beloved dog, Buddy.
Per Allen's request, there will be no calling hours or services. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Donations in his memory may be made to the Finger Lakes SPCA of CNY or the VFW Post 8137, Montezuma.
