It's with shattered hearts that we announce the passing of Andrew Fatcheric, aka Timmy, he lost his courageous, yet vicious, battle with cancer on April 18, 2024, he was just 57. Everyone who met Andy immediately loved him. He was the life of the crowd; he excelled in everything he did! He caught the trophy fish and the biggest buck. He shot 6 packs in horseshoes and threw 300's in bowling. He broke the mile record for track in high school; he was The Legend. Andy was also a worker. In his teens he started working at O'Neil Farm, then went onto Onondaga Beverage and J&B Roofing, cooked for a preschool, worked at Crucible Steel, and lastly ended his career at Owens Illinois.
Andy leaves behind his beloved wife of 21 years, Laura, a son, Justin Spencer and stepson, Joshua Bilger. He was the first-born son to Peter Fatcheric (Patricia) and Linda MacDerment (Daniel). The best brother ever to Bonnie Stevens (Tom), Jeffrey Fatcheric (Christine), Greg Fatcheric (Amie), stepsisters, Debbie Dunham (David), Kelly Cooper (Robert), Cathy Short, stepbrothers, Matt MacDerment (Stephanie) and Tim MacDerment (Jennifer), several nieces and nephews and countless good friends.
Everywhere he went he met good people and made more friends. Andy gave everything to everyone. He built a beautiful cabin on the river and shared it with whoever needed a wedding venue, graduation, a celebration of life, or just simply a beer or ten.
In keeping with Andy's love of life and a good party, we will be celebrating him on Saturday May 25th at The River, 9460 Fatcheric Lane. All who knew Andy and Laura, or the Fatcheric Family, are most welcome.
Fly high Andy, we will meet again. Know you were loved so very much. We'll see you in every bonfire, feel you in every fish that bites, hear your laugh in every tale that's told, but life will never be the same without you. God Bless and Rest in Peace. P.S. Fuck Cancer.
Donations in his memory may be made to Memorial Sloan Kettering or Upstate Cancer Center.
