Ann (Gunger) Driscoll, a loving mother, devoted registered nurse, and generous spirit, passed away peacefully on March 6, 2026.
Born in 1948, Ann dedicated her life to caring for others, working as a compassionate nurse both in hospitals and at the Auburn Correctional Facility. She was known for her incredible generosity, sharp wit, and infectious humor, bringing light and laughter to everyone she met.
Ann was preceded by her loving parents, Dick and Elinor Gunger; and her beloved first husband, John D’Arcangelo.
She leaves behind her cherished children, Julie Delaney and Marc Kowal (Laura); her dear ex-husband and best friend, Dave Driscoll; beloved grandchildren, Greg, Meghan and Jack Delaney, Owen and Tucker Kowal; her sister, Elane Daly (Kevin); and nephews Greg and Chris Daly.
Ann’s love, compassion, and laughter will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed.
Friends are invited to join the family for a Mass of Christian Burial to be offered at 12:00pm Wednesday, March 11, 2026 in Sacred Heart Church. Burial will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Calling hours will be conducted prior to mass, from 10:00am to Noon in the church. Arrangements are with White Chapel Funeral Home Inc., Auburn
