Barbara J. Schulte
Barbara Schulte was taken home on December 14, 2025, by her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, after a ten-year journey with Alzheimer’s.
She was born in 1939 in Pennsylvania to her late parents Phillip and Mildred. She was preceded in death by a sister Susan and Susan’s husband Michael. She is survived and missed by her brother Roger and his wife Linda. She has several loved nieces & nephews.
Barb went to college and met and fell in love with her 1st husband, the late Clark Cornell. They had 3 daughters. She is survived by Debi (Joe) & Sally (Larry). She was preceded in death by their special daughter Jane.
She had 3 grandchildren. Valerie (Michael), Brian (Erica) and Laura (MacDane). Very sadly Valerie preceded her in death. Barb was also blessed with many much-loved great grandchildren.
After moving to California around 1980, Barb met the love of her life Bob Schulte whom she married. She then became a part of Bob’s whole family whom she loved so deeply. Barb was broken hearted when Bob passed away in 2007.
Barb loved her family, friends, church family and pretty much everyone she met. She was greatly loved in return.
She was a good bowler and loved travel and cruises. Her reply when asked how she was doing, was always, “I’m fine and dandy!” She also loved to hug anyone and everyone. Many people said she was the nicest and sweetest person they ever met.
Our family would like to especially thank the caring staff of The Commons in Auburn, where she spent the last few years of her life. They were a special blessing to Barbara and to us.
A celebration of her life will be in the Spring.
Lastly, Barb will be greatly missed here on earth, but we will see her again!
