BEULAH JANAS, 89, of 2711 Bell Street, Weedsport, NY passed away peacefully at home with her family on April 17, 2021. She was born in Hope, Indiana to Luther William Hyden and Nannie Susan Whitis. She grew up in Mt. Victory, Kentucky with her 9 siblings. She is survived by 5, Gaetha(Dean) Lovins, Sue Mize, Eddy Hyden, Sharon Gridler, Levon(Brenda)Hyden and predeceased by brothers Lewis, Clayton, Vermont and Gerald. She moved to New York at age 20 where she met and married Albert Janas on May 30,1952 at St. Alphonsus Church in Auburn, NY. They had 9 children. She is survived by 8 of them: Douglas(Karen)Janas ,Catherine(Stosh)Rosetti, Sandra(Dale)Freeman, James(Vickie)Janas, Pamela Hinman, Stephen(Cheri)Janas, Kimberly(Dave Leonti)Herrick and David(Kristy)Janas. Michael Janas passed away in 1960 as an infant. Her husband Albert passed away on May 5th, 2006. she is survived by grand children: Heidi, Jennifer, Chris, Lisa, Michael, Brian, Jessie, Nycole, Jeremy, Ellyse, Erin, Audra, Anna, Corey, Tonya, Jonathen, Hunter, Olivia, Abigail, Mitchell and Morgan. Several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She retired from TRW and did homecare for several years.
She was a wonderful daughter, sister, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She will forever
be loved and missed by her family and friends. She loved her family, cooking, gardening and sewing.
Calling hours will be from 5 P.M. to 8 P.M. Thursday at White Chapel Funeral Home, Weedsport, NY. Mass at St. Joseph's Church, Weedsport, NY is at 11 A.M with burial to follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Auburn on Friday.
