Billie Jane Rossbach

 Billie Jane Rossbach, 89, of Scipio Center, passed away peacefully at home with her family on April 17, 2019.

Billie was born in Davenport, N.Y., on Oct. 22, 1929, and was the daughter of the late Arthur Brockway and Marion Graney.  Billie and her husband, Dietrich, worked on their farms in Scipio Center and Port Byron until their retirement.  Billie also worked as a health care provider at Mercy Rehab where she was appreciated for her excellent care and patience.  She was known for her exemplary cooking, delicious preserves, and colorful aprons.

Billie is survived by her husband of 69 years, Dietrich Rossbach; her sons, Frank Arthur, of Scipio Center, and Robert Walter, of Davenport; her daughter, Barbara Bdour, of Amman, Jordan; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; her sister, Donna Modinger, of Gansevoort, and her brother, Mike Brockway, of Massena.

Honoring Billie’s wishes, there will be no calling hours or services.

Arrangements are with White Chapel Funeral Home Inc., Auburn.
