Bruce "Bill" Helzer

Bruce W. "Bill" Helzer, 56, of Auburn passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 14, 2026. Mr. Helzer was born in Auburn, NY on Feb. 7, 1970, to the late Bruce and Penelope Kilborne Helzer.

He was a 1989 graduate of Port Byron High School and was formerly employed with McQuay International and The Commons.

Bill enjoyed fishing and was a huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Dale Earnhardt. Bill was a friend to all who knew him; and will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Bill is survived by his daughter, Brittany Helzer (Aaron); grandson, Mason; brother, Steve (Elaine); nieces Stephanie and Erica; uncle, Pete (Judy) Kilborne; several cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 27th from 4-6pm with a memorial service to immediately follow at 6pm all in White Chapel Funeral Home, 197 South St. Auburn.
