Byron G. Lopez-Mazariegos, 47, of Auburn, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 19, 2025. He was born on March 12, 1978, in Huehuetenango, Guatemala.
Byron’s life was defined by courage, perseverance, and deep devotion to his family. Through unwavering determination and a spirit of humility, Byron established Lopez Construction in Auburn, where he proudly served the community for over 20 years. Known for his exceptional work ethic, generosity, and gentle spirit, Byron was the kind of man who would give his last dollar to someone in need and show up for others without being asked.
Family was the heart of Byron’s world. He was a loving father and a source of strength and guidance to all who knew him. Nothing brought him more joy than being surrounded by his children and watching them grow.
Byron is survived by his beautiful children: Marissa (Justin), Victoria, and Alex. He also leaves behind his cherished parents, Gilberto Lopez and Victorina Mazariegos, his partner, Denise, and his loving siblings, nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 25, 2025, from 4-7pm at White Chapel Funeral Home, 197 South Street, Auburn. Funeral Services will be 10am on Tuesday, Aug 26th in the funeral home. burial to follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
