Carol J Beach

Carol J. Beach, 85, Auburn, passed away Thursday, February 27, 2025, at Auburn Community Hospital. Mrs. Beach was born on July 3, 1939, in Auburn to the late Samuel and Beatrice Gillett Day. Carol retired from Michaels and Smolak where she was dedicated legal secretary for 45 years. Carol married the love of her life, James R. Beach on November 14, 1959; they created a beautiful life and family together.  She loved being around family and friends. She especially enjoyed going to lunch or dinner with her girlfriends. 

Carol is survived by two daughters Kim Martens (John) of Port Byron and Vickie Murphy of Auburn; her stepson Greg Jakaub (Wanda) of Port Byron; six grandchildren Jessica McNabb (John), Jill Langdon (Tim), Madison and Kaden Murphy; Mallory Towers (Rob) and Katie Tabor (Ben); and five great grandchildren Carter and Hudson McNabb, Jaxson Langdon, Josie Tabor and Luca Towers; sister-in-law, Jean (Bill) Saroodis; and nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Carol was predeceased by her husband, James R. Beach in 2023 and her brother Sam Day. 

Visitation will be held Monday, March 3rd from 11am-1pm with a funeral service immediately following at 1pm all in the White Chapel Funeral Home Inc., 197 South St., Auburn. Burial will be held privately at a later date. 

Contributions in memory of Carol may be made to her grandson’s cause, Hudson Hydro Heros, payable to Jessica McNabb 121 Norris St. Waterloo, NY 13165 or to the Finger Lakes SPCA.
