Carolyn Ann Crandall, 81, of Auburn passed away peacefully at Matthew House on the evening of Thursday, June 6, 2024.
Carolyn was a strong, independent, inspirational woman. A retired trauma nurse at Auburn Community Hospital. She was devoted to God and her church and active volunteer in the community.
She loved knitting, gardening, animals (especially birds), reading, playing cards, and having lunch with friends.
Carolyn was predeceased by her parents, Paul A Foster and Virginia May Ferneyhough. She is survived by her son, Todd Crandall, sister, Judy Varney, grandchildren, Brittney and Boston, great grandchildren Jacoby, Zoe and Gabriella, and many, many dear church friends that she considered family. She will be dearly missed by all.
A celebration of her life will be held at United Methodist Church of Auburn on Sunday, June 23rd at 1pm.
