Charles L. Youngs

Charles L. Youngs, 74, of Auburn, passed away on July 27, 2025, at Auburn Community Hospital. Born in Cortland NY on July 17, 1951, Charles was the son of the late Harold and Nellie Youngs. He owned and operated Hendricks Oil and Wood Acre Car Wash in Auburn NY for 16 years. He was most recently employed as a truck driver with Patterson Farms. Charles was an avid hunter and fisherman and also enjoyed golfing. Above all, spending time with his family brought him the most joy.

Charles is survived by his companion of 24 years, Paula Ferguson; his children, Rebecca Youngs, Sumner Youngs and Myles (Katie) Youngs; his step sons, Matthew and Christopher Ferguson; his brothers, Stanley Mudge, Jerry Youngs, Jay Youngs, Terry Youngs and Scott Youngs; his grandchildren, Jordan, Brian, Abagail, Trenton, Kali, Joshua, Kambri and Madelyn; & step granddaughter Abby, & his great grandchildren, Emersyn and Enzo, along with nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, Charles was predeceased by his brother, Gene Youngs and his special friend, Thomas Deland.

A celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family.
