Cynthia Bills Obituary

Cynthia E. Bills, of Auburn, better known as Cyndie by her friends and family, passed away September 30, 2023, at the Commons on St. Anthony. Born in Auburn on February 2, 1948, Cynthia was the daughter of the late Vernon and Elzora (Walsh) Wood. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, solitaire, playing video games and watching wrestling. Her favorite was Hulk Hogan and along with her grandson, they would spend time together watching WWE and Smackdown. Cynthia had an extensive collection of owls, totaling over 4000. She collected them on her own and received many as gifts for birthdays and holidays. Above all, Cynthia was nurturing and loving. Her family was her world, and she took great pride in caring for them.

Cynthia is survived by her loving husband, Michael Bills aka Mick; her brother, Jimmy (Rose) Wood; her children, Shelia (Terry) Manwaring, Shannon (Malcom) Bell, Gregg (Melissa) Mahannah, Michelle Nobel, and Kristie Hanmore; her grandchildren, Steven Mahannah, Ryan Manwaring, Shawn (Klaressa) Manwaring, Brandie Walters, Cristifer (Chelsey) Hanmore, Jordan Hanmore, Makenzi Bower, Gesten, and Olyvea Mahannah, Danzel and Cayman Bell and Spencer Lucas; her great grandchildren, Sabyn, Brooklyn, Reta, Sireena, Daymen, Aubree, Jocilyn, Alyxzander, Landyn, Greysin, Scarlytte, Rhyse, Emmett, Natalie, Kaydence and Avery; her nieces and nephews, Sandie Ann, Richard, William (Debbie) and Doris (Zachary); her great nieces and nephews, Martin, Trinity, Gerald, Boult and Elizabeth and her very close friend, Edward Scullion aka Bear In addition to her parents, Cynthia was predeceased by her sisters Sandie Shuler and Edna Stairs, grandchildren, Lance Bower, Terry Jr. and Hunter Hanmore, and her great grandchildren, Cullen and Elana.

Family and friends are welcome to join together for a celebration of Cynthia's life on Saturday, October 7th from 12pm-3pm at the Cathedral room at The Center, 1 Hoffman Street, Auburn NY 13021.
