Daniel J Morin

Daniel J. Morin, 66, of Auburn/Throop passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 8, 2022.  Mr. Morin was born in Sudbury Ontario Canada on November 19, 1955. He proudly served our country with the United States Army from 1974-1978. Dan retired last year from Bo-Mer Plastics, in Auburn where he was a supervisor.  He dedicated most of his life working as a Co-Owner of his family's business 4M Precision, in Auburn where he was the Vice President of Engineering.

Dan had a variety of hobbies, including making darts, raising aquarium fish and a variety of animals over the years. He very much loved the time he spent at the camp on Cayuga Lake fishing for bass with close friends and family.

Dan is survived by his wife and best friend of 43 years, Michelle Holmes Morin; his children, Scott (Jessica), Lisa, and Christopher; his beloved grandchildren whom he adored, Sadie and Jackson; his mother Margaret Muldoon Morin; his siblings, Giselle, Brenda, Stephen, Jeff, Karen, Edith and Allen.

Dan was predeceased by his father, Germaine Morin and his father-in-law and mother-in-law Kenneth and Laura Holmes.

Visitation will be held Saturday, June 18th from 1-4pm at White Chapel Funeral Home, 197 South St.  Auburn NY. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
