Danielle Lynn Hendrix

Danielle Lynn Hendrix, 51, of Waterloo passed away unexpectedly on August 30, 2023. Born in Geneva on March 9, 1972, Danielle was the daughter of David Hendrix and Brenda Shaw. She was currently employed with the Shake Shack and had previously worked as a bartender, flagger, with Bass Pro and was also manager at McDonald's for many years. Throughout her life, she enjoyed working with the public and made many great friends. Danielle was a talented crafter and had an exceptional eye for interior design. She was an avid collector of lighthouses and lanterns. Above all she loved her family and cherished her children. 

Danielle is survived by her sons, Garrett Hendrix, David Hendrix and Ethan Hendrix; her mother, Brenda Shaw; her stepmother, Linda Mills Hendrix; her stepfather, Paul Kolczynski; siblings, Kevin (Deanna) Mills, Michael (Kathleen) Mills and Margaret Mills; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many close friends, including those she met at the dialysis center. 

Danielle was predeceased by her infant daughter, Lacy Hendrix; her father, David Hendrix and her sister, Cinnamon Pettingill. 

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, September 7th from 4-8pm at the Montezuma VFW.

Burial will be held privately for family.
