Darlene Kimak Obituary

Darlene Margaret (Morgan) Kimak, 64, of Port Byron, New York, passed away peacefully on May 23, 2025, after a courageous battle with multiple system atrophy. Born on September 3, 1960, Darlene was a devoted mother, proud grandmother, cherished daughter, loving sister, and loyal wife. She was a compassionate soul whose strength, warmth, and selfless love left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.

Darlene was predeceased by her loving husband, Frank Kimak, beloved aunt, Sister Margaret Coyne, her mother Shirley Morgan, and her father Henry Morgan. She is survived by her daughter, Morgan Wise, and son-in-law Marc Wise; and her three adored grandchildren: Melody Johnson, Axel Taylor, and Liam Wise.

She is also survived by her six siblings and their spouses: David and Joanne Morgan, Don and Debbie Morgan, Kathy and Steve Gilmore, Patricia Hinman and Greg Martin, Dennis and Jodie Morgan, and her sister Michelle Morgan.

Darlene’s life was further enriched by many loving nieces, nephews, and friends who became family.

Darlene was known for her free spirit, her adventurous love for life, and her deep empathy—she had an incredible ability to make others feel seen and heard. She was a shoulder to many, offering comfort, understanding, and genuine care. She lived life with joy and laughter and found happiness in time spent on the golf course, playing softball, bowling with friends, and enjoying a cold Coors. Her playful spirit and unwavering compassion made her someone people naturally turned to and deeply admired.
