David C. Parker

David C. Parker, 64, the husband of Cathy Wasilenko Parker, of Auburn passed away Sunday, January 21, 2024 in Upstate Hospital, Syracuse. Born in Auburn on December 8, 1959, he is the son of Carol Becker Parker and the late Clinton "Pete" Parker. Dave was a graduate of Weedsport High School, Class of 1978 and was employed previously with TRW and recently for more than 27 years with Bo-Mer Plastics in Auburn. He was an avid NASCAR fan, loved to hunt, camp, watch television and enjoyed trips to the casino. Above all, David loved spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren and family. 

In addition to his loving wife of 33 years, Cathy, David is survived by one daughter Jessica Parker; two sons Brandon Parker (Lauren) and Jason Parker; one sister Belinda Wilson (Randy); brother Jeffery Parker (Janet); grandchildren Maya and Mason; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Including his late father, David is predeceased by their infant son Steven Parker; and one sister Colleen Rathbun. 

Calling hours for David will be conducted Saturday, January 27, 2023 from 10am to 12pm in the White Chapel Funeral Home Inc., 197 South Street, Auburn. A funeral service will follow at noon in the funeral home. Spring burial in Weedsport Rural Cemetery, will be held at the convenience of the family.
