Dawn L (McWethy) Walker

Dawn. L. McWethy Walker, 54, of Cayuga and formerly of Weedsport, passed away Friday, September 13, 2024, at Geneva General Hospital. Dawn was born in Auburn, NY on October 1,1969, to the late Duane R. and Phyllis M. Bibbens McWethy. 

Dawn was a Nurse Aide and then a Home Health Aide for many years; she loved helping and caring for her senior clients. 

Dawn was always up for an adventure; she had a love for nature and found peace in the outdoors. Her family meant the world to her, and she cherished the time she spent with them especially with her grandchildren whom she adored.

Dawn is survived by her loving husband, Jeffrey Walker; her sons, Mathew (Amanda) McWethy, Shawn (LaChrishia) Simpson and Doug Simpson; her siblings Donald McWethy, Diane (Carl) Scheufele, Darlene (Dan) Dolph, and Donna (Ken) O'Bryan; her stepchildren, Rosemary Rudenhauer, Robert Coe (Jennifer Kilmer), Matthew Coe, Steven (Rebecca) Skillman, and Richard (Eve) Walker; her grandchildren, Abigail, Jacob, Austin , Madelyn, Dylan and Clayton; her step grandchildren, Cole, Ruby, Richard, Sara, Phillip, Timothy, Leah, Issac and Joseph
