Deborah S. Surber

Deborah S. Surber, 55, of Auburn passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 30, 2025. Mrs. Surber was born in Rochester, NY on February 9, 1970. Debbie loved life and always lived hers to the fullest. Her beautiful smile and positive energy were contagious. She enjoyed the time she spent with friends and family, especially with her granddaughters. 

Debbie is survived by her loving husband, John Surber; her children Cory Gamlen, Devon Gamlen and Jen Surber; her father, Stephen Vincent; her siblings, Scott Vincent, Michael Vincent and Judy Gourley, her beloved granddaughters, Addy Gamlen, Vivi Gamlen and Aurora Gamlen; her mother- in-law, Anne Surber; father-in-law, Dick (Kathy) Surber; brother -in-law, Rick Surber; sisters-in-law, Karen Surber, Kathy Surber and Misty Gonzalez; several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. 

Debbie was predeceased by her mother and stepfather, Diane and Doc Poole. 

Calling hours will be held Friday, September 12th from 4:00 to 7:00pm, with a memorial service to immediately follow at 7:00pm in the White Chapel Funeral Home, 197 South St. Auburn.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Debbie's name may be made to the American Cancer Society.
