Debra M McGrail

It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Debra M. McGrail, 64, of Moravia. Debbie passed away Monday, March 24, 2025, surrounded by her loving children.  

Debbie was born in Auburn, NY on June 7, 1960, to the late Thomas and Ann Powers.  Debbie was predeceased by her son Robert Jones. 

Debbie had a love for animals and her flower garden and loved to tell stories of her many fond memories, especially of growing up on the Bean Farm in Moravia. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. 

Debbie is survived by her children, Sueann (David) Martin, Jennifer (Michael) Stearns and Steven Jones; her beloved grandchildren, Dominic, Philomena, Lucia, Adelina, Matteo, Pia and Rocco John Martin, Bradley and Nora Stearns; her four siblings and her dear friends, Bill and Bear. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, April 1,2025, at noon in St. Patrick's Church, Aurora. Debbie will be laid to rest beside her loving son, Robert, whom she missed dearly. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Albert the Great Academy, 134 Washington Street, Auburn or Tyburn Academy, 17 Clymer St. Auburn.
