Delia May Ball, 83, passed away peacefully on September 19, 2025. Born on June 18, 1942, Delia was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend whose warmth and dedication touched everyone who knew her.
She is predeceased by her devoted husband, Richard Ball, with whom she shared a lifetime of love and companionship. Together they raised three children—Daniel (Shari) Ball, Michael Ball, and Kristy (Brian) O'Hare-who were the center of her world. Delia’s pride and joy extended to her grandchildren, Morgan Ball, Parker (Alexis) Ball, Devin Van Fleet, Connor Van Fleet, Samantha Ball, and Mackenna Ball, as well as her great-grandchild, Kaylor Ball.
Over the years, Delia worked as a bookkeeper for Newric Construction Company and Wells College, where her attention to detail and strong work ethic earned the respect of her colleagues.
Outside of work, Delia found happiness in the simple pleasures of life. She loved tending to her garden, sitting outdoors, and watching the hummingbirds visit her feeders. She also cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren and enjoyed relaxing evenings watching her favorite police, fire, and medical shows.
Delia will be remembered for her kindness, her unwavering love for her family, and the joy she brought into every room. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
