Dianne Alice (Beard) Newkirk

Dianne Alice Beard-Newkirk, 81 of Port Byron, passed away on April 17, 2024, at Auburn Community Hospital. She was born in Maine on September 28, 1942. Dianne was previously employed with Colombian Rope and was a salesclerk and manager at the Salvation Army in Auburn. She enjoyed fishing and had an impressive collection of teddy bears. Dianne was recently staying with her daughter and son in law and took a liking to the chickens at their home. She loved watching them and even named a few. Above all, she enjoyed spending time with family, especially the grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Dianne is survived by her daughters, Theresa (Rodney) Hogle and Tammie (Joseph) Miner; her son Robert Jr. (Tammy) Beard; her grandchildren, Jacob Miner, Jennifer Bristol, Mary Schultz, Tricia Princzes, Tracy Whitmarsh, Robert Beard III, Kayla Beard and Amanda Beard; many great grandchildren and several she was especially close with, Sophia Parsons, Christiana Copeland, Kaylyn Copeland, Robert Beard IV and Makayla Dennis.

Dianne was predeceased by her first husband, Robert Beard Sr.; her second husband, Bevan Newkirk and her grandson, Corey Beard.

A graveside service will be held on April 24th at 1pm in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Port Byron.
