Dolores Ann Basha

Dolores "Dee" A. Basha, 92, of Fleming, passed away November 26, 2024, at The Commons on St. Anthony. Born in Auburn on January 19, 1932, Dee was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Zibbon) Malec. She graduated from St. Joseph's School of Nursing in 1949 and was employed many years as an RN at Mercy Hospital on the maternity ward, and at General Electric. Dee retired from General Electric as a certified occupational health nurse.

Dolores is survived by her children, Dr. Roger F. (Kathryn) Basha of Isle of Palms, SC, Mary Beth Basha (Kathy Miles) of Dewitt, Amy L. (Michael) Rich of Pasadena, MD and Richard Basha of Auburn; her grandchildren, Thomas (Katherine) Basha of Mount Pleasant, SC, and Ian Basha of Isle of Palms, SC, great-grandchildren Riley and Thomas “Brew” Basha of Mt Pleasant, SC.

In addition to her parents, Dolores was predeceased by her husband, Roger Basha in 2018. Services will be held privately for family, with interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Auburn.
