Donald R. Cunningham

Donald R. Cunningham, 86, of Skaneateles Falls, passed away surrounded by his loving family on February 23, 2024. Mr. Cunningham was born in Auburn on March 28, 1937, to the late Francis and Arlene (Bellenier) Cunningham. He proudly owned and operated Don Cunningham Farrier Service for many years.

Donald is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia Cunningham, his son, Michael Cunningham; his daughter, Leslie (Dean) Slater; his daughter-in-law, Katie Cunningham; his brother, Gary (Bernice) Cunningham Sr., his sister-in-law, Dale Cunningham; his grandchildren, Justin Slater, and Kaylyn (Robert) Nugent; his great grandchildren, Irving Nugent and Jolene Nugent; his "adopted" grandchildren, Marybeth "Boots" Moorehead and Nathan Moorehead, along with several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Don was predeceased by his brother, Francis Cunningham and his sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and David Delaney.

Calling hours for Don will be held on Wednesday, February 28th from 4pm - 7pm in the Elbridge Community Church, 109 East Main Street, Elbridge NY, 13060. A funeral service will follow in church at 7pm. Burial will be held privately for family.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Don's name may be made to Hospice of the Finger Lake, St. Jude's or the Mottville Fire Department.
