Donna Marie (Marr) VanDyke

Donna Marie VanDyke 88, passed away peacefully on Wednesday September 10, 2025 in Florida. 

Donna was born March 15,1937 to Chester and Francis Jetty Marr and lived in Port Byron, NY for most of her life prior to moving to Fort Myers, FL in 2022. Donna worked as a civil servant for Cayuga County and retired in 1993.

She loved her family, had a great sense of humor, loved playing cards, the color blue, lilacs, hummingbirds, Kenny Rogers and her Dogs Moo and Mia

She was predeceased by her parents, Chester and Francis; brothers Frederick (Chetty) Marr, Stanley Marr, Robert Marr; and her husband Russell VanDyke

Donna is survived by her children Tammy Hackett of N. Fort Myers FL., Steven VanDyke of Port Byron, NY, Debra Burroughs of Holiday FL. and Tina Thompson of Millsboro, DE; grandchildren Michael (Priscilla) Shaffer of Rutherfordton, NC, Allen Behm of Holiday FL, Kirk Hand of Holiday FL, Steven Burroughs of Fredericksburg, MD and Brian (Molly) Kreydatus of Port Byron, NY; several great grandchildren.

There will be no calling hours. For those wishing to attend, there will be a graveside service to be offered Friday, September 19, 2025 at 10:30 AM in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Port Byron.
