Edwin K. Weller

Edwin K Weller Sr., 82, of Eldridge, NY, passed away on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Auburn Community Hospital. Mr. Weller was born in Auburn on November 25, 1943, to the late Kenneth L. and Mildred Abbott Weller. 

Edwin was a graduate of Weedsport High School, class of 1962 and earned his associate's degree at Morrisville College in 1964.  Edwin married the love of his life, Margaret Hitchcock in 1965; together they built a beautiful life and celebrated 60 years of marriage. 

Mr. Weller was a dedicated employee for UPS for over 30 years. He was an avid SU Basketball and NY Yankees fan. In his younger years he enjoyed playing basketball, baseball and other sports. Also, coached little league for his son’s teams; for one of those years, he served as president. 

Edwin is survived by his loving wife, Margaret Weller; his sons, Edwin Jr. and Donald; his cherished granddaughters, MaryAnn and Emily; his siblings, Gordon, Stanley (Louise) and Allen (Susan); and several nieces and nephews. 

In addition to his parents, Edwin was predeceased by his grandson, Joshua Weller, and his brother Raymond Weller. 

Visitation will be held Friday, February 20th from 2-4pm with a service to immediately follow at 4pm at White Chapel Funeral Home, 2719 Erie Drive Weedsport, NY 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Jordan Volunteer Fire Department 1 North Hamilton St. Jordan, NY 13080.
