Elizabeth A. Nash, 89, of Auburn passed away on January 21, 2026, at The Commons on St. Anthony. Betty was born in Auburn on May 3, 1936, and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Genevieve Rozwood Czoloski.
She was a switch board operator at Auburn Memorial Hospital and retired from there after 33 years of employment and also helped with the dairy farm her husband started. Betty was a member of the Sennett Fire Department Auxiliary, The Order of The Eastern Star and was involved with the Polish Falcons Club. She enjoyed snowmobiling with family and friends in her younger years. She had a great time following her Caribbean Band, going as far as Jamaica and Mexico to show her support and meet the families.
She loved becoming a lake person when she and her friend Shirley Giannone bought a camp on Lake Ontario. They tried to convert their husbands to lake people too, but they were farm boys through and through. She also really enjoyed hosting family and friends for all holidays, especially Christmas Eve, with wonderful home cooked food and spending time together with family, friends and neighbors.
Betty is survived by her sons, Joseph Nash and Robert Nash; her daughter in law, Tina Nash; her grandchildren, Amanda Nash, Bryan Nash, Christopher (Nicole) Nash, Rebecca (Jason) McConnell, and her great grandchildren, Elliot, Sam, Jason and Bella.
In addition to her parents, Betty was predeceased by her husband, Robert Nash in 2023, her sister, Joan in 2001, and dear friends Shirley Giannone and Barb Nohle.
Services will be held for Betty in the spring.
Arrangements are with White Chapel Funeral Home Inc., Auburn NY.
