Frances R. (Loperfido) Watkins

Frances Rose "Lolly" Loperfido Watkins, 77 passed away April 16, 2024 surrounded by her loving family, following a brief illness. Born in Auburn January 25, 1947, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Maneri Loperfido. She was employed for many years with TRW in Auburn and a member of the Aurora Blind Association. She enjoyed crocheting with her friends and donated countless blankets, hats and scarves to numerous charities. Fran loved spending time with her family, preparing Sunday dinners and baking Italian cookies.

She is survived by daughters Lisa Utterback of Weedsport and Lori Fleet of Penn Yan; grandchildren Danielle and David Utterback, Meghan Crowningshield, Anna, Emma and Eva Fleet; and great grandson Micah; and her beloved cats Rascal and Luigi. Fran is also survived by her siblings, Katherine Atteberry (Ray) of Idaho, Michael Loperfido of Auburn, Bernie Loperfido (Lynn) of Michigan, Margaret Westmiller (Larry) of Auburn; several nieces and nephews; Lisa and Lori's father Richard Bosco of Schenectady; her stepchildren Bruce Watkins Jr. (Karen) and Lisa Tkacz (John) and their families.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Bruce Watkins; and brothers John and Joseph Loperfido.  

Calling hours for Fran will be conducted Saturday, April 20, 2024 from 1:00 to 3:00pm in the White Chapel Funeral Home Inc., 197 South Street, Auburn. Contributions may be made in her memory to the SPCA or the Aurora Blind Association.
