Frank R. Girvin

Frank R. Girvin 83, the husband of the late Donna Girvin, passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2022 in Auburn Community Hospital. Born May 6, 1939 in Cayuga, he was the son of the late Lester E. and Bertha Davis Girvin. Frank was a graduate of Port Byron Schools and worked his life on the family farm, enjoyed tinkering and working on his cars and earned the nicknames of "Shag" and "Crankshaft".

He is survived by his brother Roy Girvin (Deb) of Throop; in-laws Sharon Jordan (Bob) of AZ, Elaine Granger (Auburn) and Brian Blowers (Shelly) of FL; his loving nieces and nephews Jeff Girvin (Teresa), Gregg Girvin, Rick Girvin, Laurie Compson (Jamie) and several additional nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and his wife Donna, who passed in August, he is predeceased by four siblings. 

Friends are invited to join the family for a graveside service to be offered Thursday, November 17, 2022 at 11:00 am in Fleming Rural Cemetery. Arrangements are with White Chapel Funeral Home Inc., 197 South Street, Auburn.
