Gary Walker

Gary L. “Space” Walker, 66, of Auburn, NY passed away on December 3rd, 2025. Gary was born on May 3rd, 1959, in Oneida, NY to the late Vernon M. Walker Sr. and Celia (Harvey) Walker. He proudly served in the US Marine Corps and enjoyed volunteering for a community Fire department. An Ordained Minister.

Gary was employed at various places during his life, including Arizona Traders, Auburn Taxi Company, Playland Amusement Park and Lake Bottom Divers.

He enjoyed, diving, going to church, hanging out with his friends at the American Legion Post 1776, whittling with wood, and leather and building electronics. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He lived his life to the fullest traveling all around the USA.

Gary is survived by his life partner; Sue Carl, a very special friend Marc Connor, his children; Misty-Lin Walker, Gary L. Walker Jr., Crystal McKibbin, Galaxy Reynolds; his sister, Elaine Schiffer; brother Gerry Walker, and several grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Gary was predeceased by his brother Vernon M. Walker Jr.

A celebration of life will be held at Lakes Church, Located at 138 E. Genesee Street, Auburn NY. Sunday December 14th 2025, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
