Gertrude "Trudy" (McLean) Colbert

Gertrude "Trudy" McLean Colbert 87, the wife of Joseph "Terry" Colbert of Auburn, passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2025 at The Commons on St. Anthony St.. Born January 29, 1938, Trudy was the daughter of the late Peter T. and Alice Murphy McLean and was a graduate of Auburn Central High School, Class of 1955. She worked for and retired from Mercy Rehabilitation after more than twenty years of faithful employment in Human Resources. Trudy was a communicant of St. Alphonsus Church. 

In addition to her husband Terry, she is survived by two sons Peter Colbert (Amy) and David Colbert (Cheryl); son in law David Erickson; ten grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. 

Trudy was predeceased by her parents; loving daughters Karen Colbert Eaton and Patricia Erickson; daughter-in-law Cathy Volk-Colbert ; brothers Robert McLean and Jack McLean; sisters Marjorie Burns, Jane Lee and Mary Wasservogal.  

Friends are invited to join the family for a Mass of Christian Burial to be offered at 10:30am Monday, December 29, 2025 in St. Alphonsus Church. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. A calling hour will be held prior to mass from 9:30 to 10:30am in the church. Arrangements are with White Chapel Funeral Home Inc., Auburn.
