Gordon A. Simons

Gordon A. Simons, 72, of Wolcott, NY, passed away November 11, 2025, at home surrounded by his loving family.  Mr. Simons was born on October 30, 1953, in Kalamazoo, Michigan to the late George and Emily Burson Simons. He proudly served our country with the United States Air Force from 1974-1978.  Gordon retired from Auburn Correctional Facility after 25 years of employment as a corrections officer. 

Gordon was an avid wood cutter and loved the outdoors; especially spending time on his 50 acres watching wildlife. 

Gordon is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 44 years, Mandy Catalano Simons; his children Jennifer (Jason Bergerstock ) Simons of Fleming, John (Cindy) Simons of Red Creek and Gina (Merrill) Kidder of Texas; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. 

In addition to his parents, Gordon was predeceased by his brother, David Simons. 

Following Gordon's wishes there will be no services held.
