Henry "Dula" W. Morgan

Henry “Dula” W. Morgan, 95, of Auburn, passed away May 1, 2025, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Auburn, NY on a June 11, 1929, Dula was the son of the late Henry H. and Jeannette Pullen Morgan. He proudly served in the United States Air Force from 1948-1950. Dula was a lineman with IBEW Local 1249 for 40 years and a member for 70 years. He was the longest living member until his passing. Dula had a very creative spirit and enjoyed taking on projects. He was very talented musically and was able to play an impressive number of instruments including the harmonica, organ, piano and guitar, just to name a few. Dula was a member of the Knights of Columbus and was an avid hunter.

Dula is survived by his seven children, David (Joanne) Morgan, Donald (Deborah) Morgan, Kathy (Steve) Gilmore, Patricia Hinman (Greg Martin), Darlene (Frank) Kimak, Dennis (Jodie) Morgan and Michele Morgan; his sixteen grandchildren, Rebecca, David, Dustin, Douglas, Cheryl, Shannon, Patrick, Joshua, Jeremy, Jason, Alex, Nick, Morgan, Mitchell, Maverick and Marcus and his 23 great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Dula was predeceased by his loving wife of 71 years, Shirley Morgan in 2020.

Calling hours for Dula will be held on Sunday, May 4th from 2pm - 5pm in White Chapel Funeral Home, 2719 Erie Drive, Weedsport. A funeral service will be held on Monday at 10am in the funeral home. Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Auburn.
