Ione J. (Hayes) Derck

Ione J. Derck, 83 of Weedsport, passed away Friday, July 12, 2024. Born August 13, 1940 in Ashland, PA she was the daughter of the late Gordon Sr. and Agnes Pesarchic Hayes. Ione was employed and retired after many years with Welch Allyn of Skaneateles and enjoyed watching professional wrestling, traveling and sightseeing. She loved to fish and take many trips all over, especially Fair Haven, to walk and take in the scenery and seasons of New York. 

She is survived by her loving companion of over 40 years, Eduard Seetge of Weedsport; two daughters Angela Mixell (Lester) of PA and Cindy Siracusa (David) of Auburn; sons John D. Derck (Pam) of Phoenix, NY and Daniel R. Derck (Kathy) of PA; and many grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her parents, Ione was predeceased by two daughters Patricia Ann Tilford and Diana Marie Ferrovecchio; and six siblings Jerry Hayes, Gordon Hayes, Patricia Yost, Joyce Hefti, Evelyn Sexton and Rosemary Polomski. 

In accordance with Ione's wishes, there will be no services. Arrangements are with White Chapel Funeral Home Inc., 2719 Erie Drive, Weedsport.
