Jeffrey James Goodrich 84, formerly of Weedsport, passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2026. Jeff was a special person, with many quirks and a soft heart. He was born in Auburn, January 16, 1942 to the late James and Irma Young Goodrich and was a graduate of Weedsport High School, Class of 1960. Following graduation, Jeff joined the Air Force during Vietnam, serving in California and Alaska until he was honorably discharged in 1965. He returned home to the Weedsport area and was employed with various businesses as a mechanic. Jeff loved old cars, motorcycles, tinkering in his garage, country music and a good laugh.
In addition to his parents, Jeff is predeceased by his gram Alice; and his brothers, Eric and Craig Keel.
Jeff is survived by his daughter Sherri Lynn Goodrich of Port Byron; sisters Connie Bolton of Liverpool, Jennifer Copley (Richard) of League City, TX; brother Roger Goodrich (Gloria) Weedsport; his "brother from another mother" Lou Barbaglia (Rose) of Jordan; his friend and former wife, Nancy Goodrich; and his feline love, his cat "Big Guy."
***Calling hours for Jeff will be conducted Wednesday, January 28, 2026 from Noon to 2:00 pm in the White Chapel Funeral Home, 2719 Erie Drive, Weedsport. A service will follow at 2:00 in the funeral home. Spring burial with full military honors will take place in Weedsport Rural Cemetery.***
