John L. Manzari

John L. "Jack" Manzari, 66 of Thornton Avenue, Auburn passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at his home. Born in Auburn March 21, 1957, he was the son of the late Victor and Josephine Zucchero Manzari. In his younger years he was employed as a cook for various local restaurants including Michael's, Locastro's, Siracusa's and Mirbeau and most recently worked in maintenance at the Auburn YMCA.  Jack enjoyed life to the fullest and was an avid gardener, craftsman, loved being outdoors and listening to music. 

He is survived by one son, Joseph Manning (Destiny); two grandchildren Noah and Joseph Manning; his aunt Laura Munro (Bob); and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Jack is predeceased by one son Michael Manzari; and two sisters Patricia Wilson and Joan Kelly. 

Jack’s celebration of life will be held Tuesday, February 13, 2024 from 3pm to 6pm at the Frank Calimeri Veterans Post, 42 Clark St., Auburn.

Arrangements are with White Chapel Funeral Home Inc., 197 South Street, Auburn.
