Josephine “Jo” M. (Masotto) Coleman

Josephine M. "Jo" Coleman, 85, the widow of the late William Coleman, of 7 Metcalf Drive passed away Saturday, July 6, 2024 in the Commons on St. Anthony. Born in Auburn July 18, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Carmela Bruno Masotto, and was a life-long resident of Auburn. Jo retired after 36 faithful years with NY Telephone, later Verizon, holding various titles and positions during her employment. An active member of the community, she was a member of the Knights of Columbus Auxiliary and a communicant of Sacred Heart Church.

She is survived by her loving children; Deborah Wood (Mark), Michael Coleman (Laurie), Lisa Ackroyd (Michael) and Amy Martino; grandchildren Nicholas, Cole, Michael, Lexi, Alyssa, Ashleigh, Maris, Aidan, Ava, Rachael, Ryan and Riley; in-laws Pauline and Jim Reilley, Ed and Marilyn Giancola and Nancy and Craig Brown; and several nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her husband Bill, and her parents, Jo is predeceased by her siblings, Mary "Marie" Masotto, Nancy Vivenzio, Connie Catalano, Toni Calhoun and Joseph Masotto.

Honoring Jo's wishes, there will be no services. Arrangements are with White Chapel Funeral Home Inc., 197 South Street, Auburn.
