Joshua P. Dickenson, 37, formerly of Weedsport, passed away unexpectedly on April 17, 2025.
Born in Auburn on September 11, 1987, Joshua was the son of Carol Wilson Tong and the late Joseph W. Dickenson. He graduated from Weedsport High School and upon graduating, enlisted into the United States Marine Corps. Joshua proudly served in Afghanistan during the war. Following his time in the military, Joshua lived in California for many years, just recently returning to New York. He was a talented electrician and small engine repairman. During high school he was employed with O'Brien's Motor Shop. Joshua loved riding his motorcycles.
Joshua is survived by his mother and stepfather, Carol and Ivan Tong; his half-brothers, Zachary Tong of Jordan and Shane Tong of NC; his half-sister, Paige (John) Graves of NC; his stepsister, Amanda Naused of OH; his beloved dog, Zeus and many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family members.
Along with his father, Joshua was predeceased by his grandparents, Donald N. and Betty J. Wilson and Harry Sr. and Phyllis Dickenson.
A celebration of life will be held for Joshua at a later date.
