Judy Vail Obituary

Judy D. Vail, 76 the wife of T. Edward Vail of Standart Avenue, Auburn, passed away Thursday, October 5, 2023 in the Commons on St. Anthony. A native of Geneva, she was born January 13, 1947 the daughter of the late Vernon and Elizabeth Osterman LeFever. Judy was a graduate of Auburn's Central High School, Class of 1964 and retired from JC Penny following many years of employment. She spent her spare time as an avid reader, gardener and enjoyed watching old movies.

In addition to Tom her husband of over 55 years, she is survived by one daughter Meghan Vail of Syracuse; two brothers John LeFever and Thomas LeFever (Paulette); one sister MaryLou Heath (Earl), all of Auburn; and several nieces and nephews. Including her parents, Judy was predeceased by her sister Linda Littlefield.

Private burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery, will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are with White Chapel Funeral Home Inc., 197 South Street, Auburn.

Contributions may be made in memory of Judy to the Alzheimer's Association of CNY.
