Kenneth E VanWie

Kenneth E. VanWie, 92, of Weedsport passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2024. Mr. VanWie was born in Weedsport NY on November 25, 1931, to the late Harold and Victoria (Jakubiak) VanWie. Ken proudly served his country with the United States Army from 1950-1953. He was an outdoorsman and loved the time spent with family. 

Ken is survived by his sons, Terry and Robbie; daughter-in law, Franci; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family.

In addition to his parents, Ken was predeceased by his wife Jude; his siblings; and son, Kenneth W. VanWie in September of 2023.

Visitation will be held on Thursday February 29th from 4-6pm in White Chapel Funeral Home, 2719 Erie Dr., Weedsport. A graveside service will be held in the spring. 

In lieu of flowers, donations in Ken's memory may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children or to a charity of one's choice.
