Kenneth J. Williams (Kip), 64 of Sennett, passed away peacefully Saturday, July 18, 2026 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born February 22,1962 in Gloversville, NY he is the son of Kenneth L. Williams and the late Jane Delano Williams. Ken was a graduate of Cooperstown High School class of 1980, received his associate degree from Cayuga Community College before being employed as a Corrections Officer at South Butler Correctional Facility, retiring in 2014 after 25 years of dedicated service. Ken was a wonderful and loving husband, father, grandfather, son and brother. Ken enjoyed hunting, gardening, a good cup of coffee and peanut butter with honey sandwiches. His outgoing personality and boisterous laugh will be missed by all those who knew him.
He is survived by his loving wife Janet Spingler Williams; his father Kenneth L. Williams (Rosemary Harp-Williams); And all his “babies” that he loved so much - two daughters Elissa Vargason (Brad) and Trista Ciccone (Justin); two sons Tyler Williams (Tricia) and Kenneth D. Williams; grandchildren Payton, Dean, Gracia, Eva and Rosie Vargason, Treston, Tayvinn and Trelynd Williams, Jaxon and Cam Ciccone; siblings Michael Williams (Jonna) and Susan Roberts (Daniel); mother-in-law Barbara Spingler, several nieces, nephews, extended family members.
In addition to his mother Jane, he was predeceased by a brother James Williams.
The family would like to thank Terri Potter for all her help and support the past few years.
Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Monday, August 3, 2026 from 3:00 to 4:30 pm in the Sennett Federated Church, 7777 Weedsport-Sennett Road. A short service and sharing of memories will immediately follow visitation. Please come as you are with a memory to share.
Contributions can be made in Kenny’s memory to The Alzheimer's Association or Hospice of CNY of the Finger Lakes.
