Laura M. Morehouse

Laura M. Morehouse, 93, of Syracuse, passed away on June 27, 2024, at Crouse Hospital. Born in Auburn on December 4, 1930, Laura was the daughter of the late John E. and Anna Marie (McBeth) Major.

She is survived by her daughters, Linda (John) Spencer and Robin (Gregory) Becker; her sister, Rita Winnie; her grandchildren, Brian (Erica) Becker, Jennifer (Charles) Brandt and Angela Martin; her great grandchildren, Maria, Alyssa, David, Ryan and Matthew. In addition to her parents, Laura was predeceased by her beloved husband, Russel Morehouse in 2006 and her siblings, Marie Skowron, Jack Major, Joanne Brechue and Patricia Dejoy.

Calling hours for Laura will be held on Monday, July 1st from 5pm - 7pm in White Chapel Funeral Home Inc., 197 South Street, Auburn. A funeral mass will be on Tuesday in Sacred Heart Church at 10am with entombment to follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Auburn.
